Before coming to the United States, Dr. Schwager worked at a small veterinary clinic in Switzerland. There is only one school in Europe offering certification in animal chiropractic. That school is in England.

Dr. Schwager decided to attend the five-month program in animal chiropractic medicine at Options for Animals in Moline, Illinois. She completed her year's training with Dr. Frick at the Animal Fitness Center.

Dr. Iris Schwager, a veterinarian from Frauenfeld, Switzerland, recently completed an intership with
Dr. Ava Frick at the Animal Fitness Center, Union, Missouri.

While here, Dr. Schwager also graciously donated her time at a local humane society, and at a facility for abused and neglected livestock operated by the Humane Society of Missouri.

In addition she attended seminars in Texas and Tennessee and gained experience at clinics in Kansas and Virginia.
